Sitting, Thinking and Wondering

Sitting

Im sitting here on my chair facing my laptop thinking what should I do. My butt (more polite than using 'ass") and my waist hurts. i guess i bend too much. Literally, i move around the office finding things to do and i believe there's plenty to do but i don't know where to start. I'll just let the work lead my hands. :)

Thinking

While sitting, i have a lot in mind. A lot till i think i need an extra hard disk. tehee! well, just kidding. In fact, our brain holds the most gigabyte or terabyte or whateverbyte u call it. hehe. Too much stirring in it like tornadoes is forming (you know, spiral2 shape where it spins you around). To name a few, i was thinking about how and when to complete my personal statement for my uni application, thinking about funding for my studies which i constantly browse through the web to find scholarships and keep myself updated with MARA page. Its quite frustrating though. That's the few things playing on the playground in my mind.

Wondering

Keep wondering, where will i be nexty ear. will I be there or here? who knows? only God knows my plans and HIS plans for me. :)

No matter how long i sit, how long i think and how long i wonder, I know that my God plans are real and his promises are Amen! Lead my life O Lord.

"But I call to God, and the LORD will save me. Evening and morning and at noon I utter my complaint and moan, and he hears my voice." (Psalms 55.16-17)

No matter what is the answers, i know that God knows and provides the best for me.:)

*for a particular reason, i sense that i have been quite rebellious towards my dad as if i was forcing him to do what i want. Sorry dad. I'll let u think in peace. hahaa:D I accept whatever your decision is.:D Love you dad:)

For some reason...

For some reason, I questions myself too much...

for some reason, I doubt myself too much too...

for some reason also, I think i am too "pushy"..

I am so sorry...

I should not complain too much when I have Christ who have strengthen me throughout my life journey...

Let me know more of You and teach me to accept things as it is Lord...

I need strength from you to go through all this and i know you have provided me with all that...

I want to be an obedient child so BAD Lord! Teach me...

Thank You...

Peel, Peel, Peel !!

I was thinking of what to post in my blog when i did my cooking this evening. Later i thought that I would post a bout how to peel a ginger. yay! GINGER! hehe. Most people peel it using knife which will take longer time to peel because you will have to control the thickness of the skin that need to be peeled. haha. Some of you might already know this method but, yeah, just read la if you want to, But if you are not interested, buy pizza and cola then seat on the couch and watch tv ok? hehe. Joking. :D

Well, i learned this while watching JAMIE OLIVER in the AFC channel. Yea, he's quite famous with his homecook, though i find his style is a little bit "dirty". hehe. Well, that's what home cook looks like kan kan kan???? hehe.

To peel the ginger in a short time while doing other cooking at the same time, u should use a SPOON! yeah, a SPOON! hehe I find that it is easy that way. Here are some pics i grabbed from the web.

You will need GINGER and a SPOON! hehe

Yes, this is how you peel it.:)

This method may be troublesome to you right. :)

This one too:)

And, Walaaaaa!!! This is the end-product that you'll get. Pretty right? hehe:D

Happy Trying:D

God Bless.:D

Snow??

I can sense CHRISTMAS is coming to me. Hahaha. Don't u guys feel the same? Too bad there's no snow in Malaysia:(

Time really flies and it has almost been a year since last Christmas. The memories from the past will remain as it is and will be remembered eternally.

Oh talking about snow, I have always wishing that I could experience Christmas with snow around me. When will it be??? Hmmm. Let's wonder and work for it. Hehe.

Since I was thinking about Christmas a lot lately, I've come up with this picture effect that makes me feel I'm really celebrating it now. #crazyworks

Smiles on her face

Lastnight (3rd November 2011), i was so sick that i can barely get up so i decided to sleep earlier than usual becuse the pain is just unbearable. Then, this morning as i woke up earlier than usual hehe, i checked my hp and there was a message form my dearest friend Nurzalikha Sa'adi saying that the result is out and asked to check my mail, so, without any hesitation, i made my laptop alive and first thing first, checking on my twitter anf facebook account haha normal right?, then i checked my mail. Soon after looking at the result, Walaaaaa! Big Big Smile on my face that i can't hide. I guess if there's someone in front of me, obviously they will think that i'm in love, or maybe crazy? haha. Not even one of that.

Praise the Lord for making me able to go through the hardships during my 6th semester in UiTM Kota Samarahan. Not to brag, but the result that i've obtained is actually my second target that i made and it was the highest target i've ever made in my 3 years study. wohooo! Doesn't that bring another smile to the face? haha. Indeed!

Gratitude goes to:
En Mohd Ezad Hafez
Being our Ketua Program along the way, was just awesome. You did a great job sir, bringing us up as if you are nurturing your own children and shaping us to be a better person through our study. Structure is amazingly easy when you start to get your marker on the white board. Like seriously. :) Its not that the other lecturers method of teaching is not good, it's just that i've never been taught by them. All of my lecturers are the best!

En Noorsaidi Mahat
Here and there being a helping hand to you sir though just a bit is a hand on experience for me to try to manage everything well, even the smallest thing. Thank You for the knowledge that you have given down to us. Its priceless. Thank You again Sir!

Miss Hemyza Binti Budin
How should i put this? Amazing sister to all of the building students. Being the most sporting Miss in the building department is something u can't ask for more in a lecturer. Not to spoil us lah but in a good way. You have your own limit right miss? We understand that very well:) Personally, thank you for all the motivations and the knowledge. It's like accepting things from my ancestors. turun temurun ilmu pengetahuan. hehe. Thank You miss for believing in us and sorry for all my wrongdoings during these 3 years. :)

Madam Nurul Asra
She's like a big sister to me. Every single words that she said really impact me especially her motivations. It really opens my eyes and see how competitive the world is. I remembered our journey back from Perak to KL in her car, we talked and talked continuously for about 2 hours. yea, 2 hours! The contents are more to Life, study and etc. But it didn't feels like 2 hours. hehe. Looking at the beautiful scenery along the road together with our fruitful chatting. Thank you madam for your care and concern for each and everyone of us. Personally, I hope we can talk more on the experience you have gone through. Thanks again Madam!:D

En Abdul Wafi
You are the best sir! Being able to mix with us and in the same time being our lecturer is awesome. In short, awesome possum lah! hehe. Thank you for all this while despite the short period that you have been teaching us. Still, it is a great memories we had being with you sir. Thanks a lot!:D

En Mohd Farhan Mukelas
Being santai entering the class is just unbelieveable. hehe. You keep on stressing that how late you are, just come to the class. If u want to sleep, do it in the class. and all that leads to knowledge accumulation. Agreed 101%!:) I have always wanted to be a bookworm like you sir, but it just doesn't work. I'll be one very soon:) Thank You for supervising me too!

En Khairul Anuar
A person who understand us well. like very well! Kudos to you sir! Sorry for all our wrongdoings, we do did a lot. Yet, being extrovert sharing everything to us and did not simply burst into anger make us respect you more. And we do respect the other lecturers too:) Thank You Sir!

En Yusri
Thank you sir for everything:)

And to all the other lecturers, Madam Ratnah, Miss Rafizah, Mdm Aza Lyza, Sir Azrul Berawi, High appreciation goes to all of you. Being a lecturer is not an easy task, but all of you push yourself to the extent that to give us better knowledge and it's just something that can't be asked elsewhere. Thank You again to all my beloved lecturers. :) Thank for making it happen!

To Dad
My super Duper role Model. Never tired answering my questions because i do ask a lot. Though sometimes i can't get what u r explaining. haha. The best dad ever. To state all the things u have done for me is too many to describe. i know u know lah oh daddy? hehe. And thanks for believing in me. I remember u said " you have done well La. Continue to be the best". Its a complement that u have never said directly to me over these years. Being the one who is always worried of how will i perform in my university years, now everything is paid off. Nothing i would like to do besides making you and Mummy proud of me. It is an intense feeling. Thank you dad! I love u unconditionally. :)

To Mom
You are in the first rank of my girlfriend list. People often said that we are sisters. I don't really sure whether they are trying to emphasize that u look young or I am the one who look old enough to be your sister. haha. Despite that, thank you for believing in me. I remember when we were in the coffee shop you said, having dreams is not wrong. and go for it if you want it. Thank you for showing me, abg chris, dedek le and dedek ayin a good example by getting your degree first just to motivate us to be better in our studies. And i know deep inside you, you wanted to pursue you master as well, but u cant. Being a mom, handling us (naughty children), the house work, Daddy and all is just amazing. I just want you to know that, you are an amazing mom ever. I would like to be one too! Love ya mom!:D

Brother Christopher
You are the most secretive brother! Its hard to get u burst out what is inside you. You really took daddy's gene. hahaha. Despite that, thank you for being a good brother to the 3 of us. Motivating and sometimes we r the one who motivates you. haha. I love you brother! All the best in your degree journey! Supporting u along the way!

Claire and ayin
Belajar bgs2. Boleh main, but not too much. Claire, remember what is your calling to UNIMAS and strive for the best. Charlene, lessen you cartoon activity and study well. I know both of you are going to make daddy and mummy proud one day later. I love you sisters!

To my Fabulous Friends/ classmates,
You guys ROCK! hehe. The laughter, the study experience i had is just irreplaceable. I hope and pray that everyone of you will success in life. See you guys again pals!

Trying

Took this few shots during our YIID competition in UiTM Sarawak last september.
Then, i tried to combine it to be one.
And it turns out to be pretty cool though. :)
Using Sony Alpha 330.
Manual mode. The only thing that i change is only its aperture and im bad in determining whether it is low or high. u judge it:)
I love shooting in manual mode.
It gives me a sharp and raw photo.
have a look:)

I'm amazed at the changes of lightings in the hall.

Blessed Sunday!

Its 25th of September 2011 today. And it is Sunday. Why am I posting this? Just because... hehe.

Its my last sunday in SIB SHALOM and my last semester here before going back on the 6th October.
I feel really blessed by the churches this morning. Being part of SHALOM family has been a very wonderful experience that I ever had.

Well, to start the story, it goes like this...
When i first came to Kuching about 3 years ago, yeah, almost, not exactly 3 years, (smiling) my brother brought me to SIB SHALOM on my very first sunday here in Kuching. Its a relief that it is not difficult to find place to go and meet the churches in Kota Samarahan when back home, i was questioning myself, where will i go on sunday for sunday service and will there be a gathering like what i normally do in Bintulu? That question really popped in my mind that very moment. Now, I have been here almost 3 years and it has almost come to an end.

Literally, not the end of everything. haha. I'll definitely come back to SHALOM. It's just that i don't know when. We'll see. :) I love the people, who never fail giving me encouragement on how life is when u are far from your family. How i grew my faith little by little here. It indeed grew! That was the greatest thing! :)

Those who I wanna thank is Pr Peter De Run and Sis Suze especially for the great hospitality during my diploma years here. The moment Pr Peter open his mouth to Preach, nahh. there you go, laughing endlessly. but despite all the laughing ( you'll understand if u went for sunday service in SHALOM), the preaching really taught me a lot. Bring me up a lot in my faith, and always remind me of how God wants me to be in his eyes.

Reminiscing back my diploma years from year 1 till year 3, I've been blessed along the way. Now, I'm gonna bring the blessings everywhere I go to bless other people.

Leaving the church this afternoon gives me a sad feeling that i'll leave them and end my study. But in the same time, I'm happy to have met them and all the blessings that I have received is countless. Yeah, you cant even count the blessings tho. hehe.

I would like to thank Sis Aileen Anne too for guiding me throughout my first year in UiTM, giving advice whenever i need it. Thank You sis!:) To all shalom members, Bro Rizoh, Sis Dianne, Sis Aester, Sis Esther, Bro Stapa and everyone. Thank You for the great Hospitality. I never feel left out here. :)

And also thanks for the continuous prayer for me Sis Dianne, Aunty Mary, and Sis Aesther. I'm totally blessed!

I would like to thank others but, there's too much. You know who you are. Thank You very much from the bottom of my heart. We'll definitely meet again sometime somehow. hehe.

Here's my award presented by Bro Stapa dis afternoon!
It's a self capture actually. haha.
it says " CONGRATULATION! GOD BLESS!
Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevail.

Let me Amen that, AMEN! hehe. Indeed, there alot of plans my humans but it is either berkenan atau tidak di mata Tuhan. Lets pray for whatever we wnated to do to ask for permission from our Daddy in Heaven:)

I'm so sorry for my weak arrangement of points. I'm really bad at it. Seriously. haha.

Once again THANK YOU SHALOM!:)

Special Gift

You must be wondering what is that special gift I'm talking about right?

During our Pre Graduation last Tuesday, 12 September 2011, a few of us representing our courses were awarded the best student for that term. It is a great moment standing on the stage. Shake hands with the minister and our Rector. Now, how many of u could shake hands with them? hehe. Not bragging, but its just a wonderful feeling inside me. Being the best among the best really make me feel like flying high.

On top of that, there are 3 orang ulu representatives. It feels great to be one of them.

Picture taken with Ruth Lua Ejau from AP114, Quantity Surveying

Now, that's mine:)

And presenting our course coordinator, Encik Noorsaidi Bin Mahat.

Thank you sir for this 3 years of studying in UiTM. And to all lecturers, my high appreciation goes to all of u.
Miss Hemyza Binti Budin, Mdm Nurul Asra, Encik Abdul Wafi, Encik Azrul, Encik Mohd Muzani, Encik khairul Anuar, Mdm Azalyza, Encik Azim Sulaiman, Mdm Ratnah, Miss Rafizah, Encik Mohd Farhan, Encik Yusri, Miss Syaza Rina, Encik Mohd Ezad and all.:)

So, the main point here is that, i would like to thank my Parents for their endless support in my studies. Knowing that I've not done my very best in my primary and secondary days, my parents still gives me their moral support regardless of what result I got.

Daddy,
You were always there when i need you to give me some extra informations about my study since we are in the same field, always give me advices that no one else could give me better than yours. I am so grateful that i have an understanding daddy like you. Thank You for believing me. stay healthy and I love you.

Mummy,
You are the best girlfriend ever for me. Understanding what i need despite the misunderstanding that always occur between us. aiyah, biasa la tu. Mother -daughter bah. Thank you for ur moral support as well, being a good example in studies towards me, abg and dedek. When you gradusted in 2009 in your Degree in Logistics, it really motivate me to be the same as you and go as far as i can. My recent proposal of my studies that i proposed to you and daddy have also granted consent from both of you. theres nothing else i could ask from u mummy. I Love u so much. and also, thank you for believing in me Ma:)

And above all, I would like to give thanks to my Jesus, Lord and Saviour for His Presence with me during my almost-3-years-course in UiTM, Kota Samarahan. Being here when i need Him, to comfort me and above all guiding me in this life phase far away from my family. Thank You Lord:)

Therefore, this award is a gift for my parents. Continue praying for me and I'll do my very best. :)

When IT ends...

When Viva ends, i feel so happy. Had the most memorable time in my diploma years yesterday 12 September 2011. All of us were like messed up with our preparation for our VIVA. But in the end, everything's goes well as planned and though there's critic from the panels, still the words of advice came from them. Grateful to have such an understanding friends and lecturers around me. Back to the hostel, reminiscing the hard journey of assesment. Halleluyah! Everything has ended well!

Right before our team turn to present

my team mate

and lastly we had a group photo. Sorry for the bad quality. hehe

In a week time i will be sitting for my final examination until the 2nd of October and after that, i will officialy end my diploma years!:) Happy that I'll graduate! Wee!~~

Anyways, Have a great time ahead and be blessed everyone!:)

Blessed 21st

I'ts been great knowing that i am 21 this year. Old? nahhhh! i'm way younger than my age. hehe. I've been blessed so much knowing that i have such wonderful peoples around me to be my friend, to encourage me, to care about each other and so so. u know. ;)

Well, my birthday day was productive and proactive i should say. It is because i had submission that i only manage to get 2 hours sleep the night before, building construction test (but i barely even study, or should i say i din study at all until that very morning right before the test, i studied just so so. again, u guys probably know that situation. i go, "lantak la jawab later". hehe) do not practice this aite! :) and in the evening we had our building science material presentation.

But still i was able to go through all that with the strength given from above. My Lord has been so good to me in my 21 years living in this worls. Hmm. How can i express this? it is just a great relieve to know that i am born in a christian family to love and to care about others. Thank You Jesus for your unfailing love towards me that i am able to love others because You told me so.

Then, we had a simple celebration at night that we decided to go to KFC (the closest place to our dorm). hehe. i had a blast with my beautiful friends. Understanding and awesome friend i have.

And i have my birthday cake as well!
though no name on it, im happy! thanks Dear renee, jo and sony! the best sisters ever! :)

Oh ya, and we had some pictures together since it is my last birthday with all of them:)
 Here we go,
Joanna and Renee

With the Unnie's :)

 cut! cut! hehe!

Happy Birthday Sandra!

Just a Story

Just like any holiday, when it comes to an end, we have to go back to where we suppose to be. so here i am in Kuching. I was suppose to go back using friday night bus bus mummy bought the ticket wrongly so i went back lastnight(saturday night, 3rd sept) and the not good part is that i got the back seat. i mean, the last seat. yeap, u heard it right, LAST! So, i was wondering how can i survive the whole night that i thought i will vomit along the way because of the bounciness. do i spell it right? uh, whatever. hehe.

Then, there was this guy who sat beside me and i end up getting bruises on my right side of my head and both my shoulder. the space is too limited because that guy consume most of the space for the two of us. its really frustrating though because i had a bad night sleep. And he selamba jak lean on me and sleep like nothing happen. apuu. Luckily, he is sick. if i did not consider it, i'll sure have asked him to seat at other places or i am the who change seat. Ok, he did not take advantage on me ok. seems like a good guy to me. ahahah! well, i have to sleep late again today to complete my assignments before its due date:)

takecare all:)

AWESOMNESS!

Few days ago i was in Long Napir, Limbang, my dad hometown which i never been to and this trip was my first trip there. it was a whole fun trip together with my cousins. though some of them can't make it, still, we had an enjoyable moment there.

Just came back from kampung lastnight (1st sept 2011, Thursday) and it was a long journey.
Long Napir to Limbang = 3 hours
Limbang town (wnet for food shopping) = 1 hour (approx.)
Limbang to miri through brunei = 2 hours
Miri to Bintulu = 2 and a half hours

arrived home at 1033pm. tiring indeed. i had to keep myself awake to keep my brother accompany. He's driving bah. Daddy had headache since we arrived in my kampung. so, in order for him to relax a bit and sleep, we plan to switch drivers. and it is a good one that we have all drivers in the car. hehe. Daddy, abang, me, dedek le and nana.

and oh ya, we had McD along the way to Bintulu. Stopped at the McD drivetru near e-mart in miri and walaa! Eating in progress and the whole car smeels like "MCD!".. Hehe. it is a memorable trip indeed and i should thinnk of another trip to be planned with daddy and the proposal might be sent to the uncles and cousins in future. :)

I'll continue again in the next entry. its too long till i feel lazy to blog about it. hahah.
takecare once again:)

The Foods That I Crave For.....

I've been watching too many korean drama lately till the influence has gone beyond my expectation. I have been thinking of those foods when i'm hungry. hehe. Crazy huh? I think i fit well with those korean delicacies. So far, i have tried ddeokboki and kimchi jjigae. Once in Sabah and twice in Kuching. And it does cost me a lot just to eat that. haha. Puas hati (evil laugh)..

Presenting you,

ddeokboki

kimchi jjigae

Kimchi
bibimbap

Mouth-watering indeed. Should try and a must try. hehe.:)

currently craving,
